Embracing Innovation and Technological Advancement

In 2023, we launched our new telecommunication model for vessels, integrating multiple satellite channels, including Geostationary Equatorial Orbit (GEO), Low Earth Orbit (LEO), and the latest mobile technologies (LTE, 4G, 5G). This initiative enhances redundancy, improves operational safety, and ensures continuous support for our fleet. The increased internet capacity and speed also provide superior communication services for our crew, helping them stay connected with loved ones at lower costs. This programme is set to be completed by 2024.

We also advanced the cloudification of our business applications, transitioning to cloud or hybrid environments. This shift optimizes infrastructure use, reduces the workload on our technical team, and improves resource efficiency. Our goal is to achieve a fully cloud-enabled infrastructure by 2026.

Additionally, we implemented Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline routine processes, reduce manual labor, and enhance data collection across our operations.

To further support our digital transformation, we conducted training sessions to enhance employees’ digital skills, preparing them for industry advancements and fostering new development opportunities.

In 2023, we also strengthened our cybersecurity framework by implementing advanced security solutions, including a Zero Trust architecture. Regular vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and enhanced access controls have been pivotal in our efforts to safeguard information. Our commitment to data security was further demonstrated with the achievement of ISO 27001 certification, reflecting our dedication to the highest standards of information security.
